We all want to have some enjoyment in life, but it’s possible that treating yourself here and there is making you put on a few more pounds than you’d like. Luckily, if your lifestyle is already pretty healthy, but you just want to make a few simple variations in order to keep your weight down, there are some easy things that you can do to make this a reality, whilst still having fun. We’ve gone through a few life hacks below, to keep you looking and feeling your best.

Choose the right snacks

There are often times – when you are relaxing during the evening, maybe – when you just really want something to nibble on, and reaching for those processed snacks could be what is causing you to put on those extra pounds. But (and this is an important but), unlike others, we’re not going to tell you that you have to cut out snacks altogether. Because that would be really boring, right? And nobody wants to do that. Instead, you can pick up a quick snack that is made from natural ingredients, and your body will thank you for it.

Cut down on the alcohol

Many people simply don’t know how many calories are in alcohol, and cutting down (or stopping altogether) when it comes to drinking won’t only help you to lose weight. It can also give you improved blood pressure, a better immune system, and will prevent you from forgetting things as easily. So the health benefits are great, and you’ll both feel and see the difference. Programs such as that provided by the Stop Drinking Expert can help you get over any issues with alcohol, if you think that it could be standing in the way of your weight loss.

Choose the ‘lighter’ option

You may think that there is not much difference between regular products and the low calorie versions, but making this small change could help you to drop a few pounds, without even realizing that your eating habits are not the same as usual. People are unlikely to notice the difference between the taste of products, but you’ll definitely notice the difference in calories when you look in the mirror. So it’s a change worth making if you’re looking to drop a bit of weight.

Walk to the store

If you’d usually drive to places that are nearby, such as the store or to pick your children up from school, walking could be a better idea and it will help you to burn calories. This is only a small change that would require an extra 15-30 minutes of your day. And it’s worth it because you’ll be exercising without even realising you’re doing it.

Lose weight, feel better

So, if you’re looking for some simple fixes, these small switches in your lifestyle could help you to lose weight and feel better. Of course, there are many options out there. So it’s all about finding what works for you and your body, and what makes you feel on top of the world!

A powder room was redone with a swirling red-and-white wallpaper to mirror the pops of red throughout the rest of the house and filled with burnished brass and gilded furniture topped with classical white objects d'arte in bright whites for a subtle contrast. Gorgeous.I like to use the color Red to warm up a room. Red Parrot from Benjamin Moore was perfect for this master bath in an urban townhouse. I particularly liked the contrast with the cool Calacutta marble and the white Empire soaking tub from Waterworks. Red Parrot is a particular favorite of mine because the claret undertone softens what can be percieved as a strong color.
