Obesity Treatment 14

Obesity remains a worldwide epidemic despite institutional efforts in obesity treatment -- efforts which have often taken a single-mode approach to short-term treatment, such as a weight loss drug or a fad diet, or even bariatric surgery. Self-education on obesity causes, the prevention of child obesity, removing social issues of obesity, and taking a "whole person" multi-modal approach to obesity treatment that addresses our physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social aspects of self and our relationships (whether to food, people, or activities) does empower us on the individual level to defeat obesity and obesity-related illnesses, and go on to live healthier, longer, happier lives. It's up to each of us, then, and in this way we collectively cure obesity in ourselves and also in the world.
