Causes Of Obesity 20

Obesity is a disease that is complex, meaning there are many causes of obesity. Obesity does not have a single genetic cause. Rather, The U.S. National Library of Medicine claims the causes of obesity are likely associated with the effects of multiple genes in combination with lifestyle and environmental factors. Thus we begin to see why obesity treatment requires a multifaceted approach. Yet obesity remains a worldwide epidemic despite institutional efforts to cure obesity -- efforts which have often taken a single-mode approach to short-term treatment. It is therefore vital that we each self-educate on the causes of obesity so as to deepen our understanding of the disease. By doing so, we thusly empower ourselves with knowledge of the changes necessary to defeat our obesity once and for all.

So it is obvious that […]

Are Gut Bugs Keeping You Fat?

Overly fat has been an obvious problem for those of us reading (and writing) this article. Not so obvious is that if our excess body fat has been a chronic problem for so long, then it actually can create conditions that prevent us from dropping our fat. Studies suggest that the diversity of bacterial species […]

Lipedema is a rare fat cell disease that can affect as many as 17 million women in the United States. Exercise, diets, and fasting will not help. The disease is often misdiagnosed as obesity. If you are one of the 6.8 million morbidly obese Americans then you are probably aware of the stereotypes that accompany the diagnosis.
