Not only do health habits collectively contribute to the daily way you feel, think and therefore act, but also health habits legitimately increase or decrease your lifespan, and the quality of life you can access. Three Ways to Know It’s Not Head Hunger

Head hunger is eating out of habit without giving thought to whether or not you are actually hungry. Head hunger is more associated with those who have problems controlling […]

Measuring Your Body’s Hunger Signals

In 1957, a researcher inserted the words “eat popcorn” and “drink Coca Cola” into a single frame on a movie reel. No viewer could actually see these words but the subconscious processed them.  Coke sales increased by 18 percent and popcorn sales increased by 57 percent. A powder room was redone with a swirling red-and-white wallpaper to mirror the pops of red throughout the rest of the house and filled with burnished brass and gilded furniture topped with classical white objects d'arte in bright whites for a subtle contrast. Gorgeous.I like to use the color Red to warm up a room. Red Parrot from Benjamin Moore was perfect for this master bath in an urban townhouse. I particularly liked the contrast with the cool Calacutta marble and the white Empire soaking tub from Waterworks. Red Parrot is a particular favorite of mine because the claret undertone softens what can be percieved as a strong color.
